Pudeena Chutney – Recipe

In South India wherever any eatables are prepared chutney and pickles have prominence, as such in north, pudeena chutney has prominence. And there is not much difference in preparation.

Ingredients:

  • Spearmint: 2 Bundles
  • Sugar: 1 1/2 teaspoons
  • Raw Mango: 1 Big
  • Chillies: 6
  • Mustard: 1/2 spoon
  • Salt: to taste

Preparation:

  • Raw mango is to be cleaned and its coat and seed to be removed and trimmed.
  • The spearmint leaves have to be cleaned, separated and mixed with trimmed mango.
  • grind all the materials above without adding water.
  • If necessary coconut can be mixed after grating(this improves the taste vastly)

This is avery tasty and healthy item.
