Barley soup

* Balely 50 gms

* Moong dal 50gms

* Garlic 4

* Spring onion 1/4 cup

* Chopped carrot 1

* Chopped tomato 1

* Maggi Vegetarian cubes 2

* Oil 1 tbsp

* Coriander leaves

* Salt to taste

* Soak barely and moon dal separately for four hours.

* Heat oil in a pan, stir fry garlic and onion.

* Add barely, moong dal, carrot, salt, five cups of water and pressure cook for three whistles and cool.

* Add spring onion, maggi vegetarian cubes, cook for a while.

* Add tomato, coriander leaves, pepper and salt. Boil well and serve hot.
